Pike Thomas Family

The Families and Descendants of
Isham B. Thomas
and his sisters
Mary Thomas and Winifred Thomas
of
Bulloch County, Georgia

About 1800 is as far back as my Thomas genealogy goes at the present and I have not been able to identify the parents of Isham Thomas. Isham settled in Alachua County, Florida, in 1851 and his nine children married and remained in Florida. Mary's Odum children mostly gravitated to Wayne County, Georgia, beginning in the 1850's where a son, Godfrey Odum, was the namesake for the town of Odum. Another son, Leonard, went to Volusia County, Florida, about the same time and, while not as prominent there, was prolific. Mary's only Kicklighter child, a daughter, married and settled in Bryan County, Georgia. Lastly, Winifred's children remained mostly in the Bulloch-Tattnall-Bryan County areas.
